You may be excited at getting back to work today. Sharing stories about your festive celebrations and reminiscing those special moments.
But for many, it is a day of dreaded fear.
You are returning to the lion's den, where the bullies lie in wait with their underhand tactics, curt remarks, aggressive tones, mocking, teasing and being downright horrible.
It turns my stomach to think back at what I went through and suffered for years from school and all through my employment.
Over the last few days, you may have felt your blood pressure rising, your anxieties return and I'm guessing you did not sleep well last night.
This has got to stop! I must not be tolerated any longer!
Can you find someone in your workplace you can trust, maybe someone in the HR department if you have one?
Speak to them about how you feel and ask for support in finding the help you need. to deal with the bullies.
Check out your company's grievance policy too.
There is support available outside the workplace too, with helplines and charitable organisations.
Or you may decide to take the bull by the horns and seek some private one to one support to
identify the core beliefs which are being triggered
transform your beliefs to align with your true feelings
Realise your values and self-worth
create new boundaries
grow your confidence and boost your self-esteem
The impact of these changes can improve all areas of your life, relationships and give you a new perspective to move forward
